The Academy of Leisure Sciences has published a series of "White Papers" on important current leisure-related issues. To enable you to read and download them without scrolling through the entire set of documents, each can be found in its own separate page:
The papers were developed in an effort to communicate with the public about diverse issues concerning leisure which might be of general interest. Each paper has been drafted by individual academy members, critiqued by the membership as a whole, and subsequently revised. The papers may be quoted for any legitimate journalistic purpose as long as authorship is attributed to the Academy of Leisure Sciences.
